Who can use Cerro

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create or buy a gift. Recipients can be any age and do not need an account.

Accounts and guest access

You can start a gift without an account. When you save or pay, we ask for your email and may send you a secure link to manage your project. You can also create a password-protected account.

Keep your login details and management links private. You are responsible for activity carried out through them. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

The service

Cerro creates personalised digital gifts — such as illustrated stories, puzzles, quizzes and short videos — and, for selected packages, printed products. What each package includes, its price and its expected delivery time are shown before you pay.

We may update, improve or discontinue features over time. We will not reduce what you have already paid for without offering a fair alternative or a refund.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, voice notes and text you upload. You give Cerro a limited licence to store, process, adapt and display that content, and to share it with our service providers, only as needed to create, deliver and support your gift.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including permission from the people who appear in it, and that your content does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

What you must not do

You must not use Cerro to create or share content that:

  • sexualises or harms minors in any way;
  • is sexual or intimate imagery of a real person without their consent;
  • harasses, threatens, bullies or humiliates anyone;
  • impersonates someone or is intended to deceive;
  • is hateful, violent or illegal; or
  • infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.

You must also not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or access gifts you were not given. We may refuse, remove or stop producing any content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or close accounts. Fees for gifts stopped for breaking these rules are not refundable.

AI-generated content

Cerro uses artificial intelligence to create illustrations, text and video. Results are artistic interpretations: characters are inspired by your photos but will not be exact likenesses, and individual details may vary.

You approve the characters before the full story is made, and each package includes a set number of revisions. Correcting factual errors — such as a misspelled name — does not count against your revisions.

Using your finished gift

Your finished gift is for personal, non-commercial use: you and your recipient may view, keep, download (where offered) and share it privately. You may not sell it or use it for advertising without our written permission.

Cerro’s name, logo, templates, styles and software remain our property.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency where supported, or another currency shown clearly before you pay. The final total, including any delivery fees and applicable taxes, is confirmed at checkout.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. Your bank may charge currency conversion or other fees, which we do not control.

Refunds are covered by our Refunds and Reprints Policy.

Printed gifts and delivery

Printed products are available only for delivery to supported countries, shown at checkout. You are responsible for giving a correct, complete delivery address and reachable phone number.

You will be asked to approve a proof before printing. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by couriers, customs or events outside our control.

Suspension and closure

You can stop using Cerro and delete your projects at any time. We may suspend or close access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect users and recipients.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Cerro reliable and to deliver gifts you will love, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated results will meet every expectation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cerro is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or removes rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. Consumers may also have the right to bring claims in the courts of the country where they live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and tell you about significant changes. Orders already placed are governed by the terms in place when you paid.
